This is an incredible before and after progress picture. It almost looks untouched in the after image!
It can be annoying when you have to move a downspout in order to mow your lawn. Even worse yet, they could be allowing roof water to deposit close to your foundation, and can cause seepage. Our Underground Downspouts are buried and placed typically fifteen feet away from the home.
This flooded crawlspace was in need of waterproofing and a vapor barrier upon our initial inspection. We found inches of water throughout the entire crawlspace, so we placed drain tile around the perimeter. We also installed jacks, and encapsulated the walls and dirt floor.
This New Carlisle customer was noticing water coming in from a basement crack, and we filled the crack with an Epoxy Crack Injection.
Just like many of Nova Basement Systems customers, this homeowner would experience seepage during heavy rains. The moisture would bring that dreaded "wet basement smell". She was tired of vacuuming water and gave us a call to see what options she had for waterproofing repairs.
Our System Design Specialist, Chris Young, came out to her property for a complimentary estimate. He found that installing a perimeter system of WaterGuard®, accompanied by a SuperSump®, and an UnderGround Downspout with an IceGuard was the appropriate fix for her home.
Foremen Joe Nichols and Ignacio Reyes, teamed up with crewmen Brian, Kenny, Spencer, John and Nathan to dry up this basement. In just two days they completed their interior install, leaving the basement ready for any heavy rain.
