Basement Waterproofing - Lateral Drain

Lateral Drains are designed to help combat additional water pressure through the floor, push away from the perimeter. We installed a Lateral Drain, by placing drainage through the center of the floor using four-inch slotted drain-tile. This picture shows where we installed a well duct to capture the seepage that would come in from the egress window. The water flows directly into the Lateral Drain in the floor.
