Basement Waterproofing - Basement Waterproofing

In order to stop groundwater seepage onto the basement floor, we installed a WaterGuard System (including clean-out ports) at the foundation footing, and a Trench Drain in front of the concrete steps. We also installed a professional sump basin with drainage stone, and a SuperSump System. We plumbed a discharge to the exterior and through an Iceguard and terminated it into a buried grate box with a drywell of stone. Next, we installed Emeshield, designed to help reduce moisture and/or flash water from the foundation walls into the waterproofing system. Those seams are over-lapped, sealed, and taped. EmeShield is held into place using fasteners to the foundation walls. Finally, we will installed an Aprilaire Dehumidifier.
