Jim and Kathy Nova, of Nova Basement Systems in La Porte, Indiana, are no strangers to community service and charitable work. For years, they have been involved in the local Humane Societies, community schools, and the Red Cross here in northern Indiana. But recently, they have expanded their efforts internationally.

Nova Basement Systems has faithfully donated and contributed to the Michiana Humane Society for the past seven years. Though typically involved in the annual Spring Fling fundraiser, this Christmas season the Nova team raised money and provided items for a rummage sale.

Nova Basement Systems Donates to Historical Society Expansion
LA PORTE, IN - Nova Basement Systems recently lent a hand to the Marshall County Historical Society and Museum's expansion. Nova, along with several other local businesses, contributed time and services to the effort to open a transportation museum at the historical society. La PORTE, IN, August 25, 2009: Nova Basement Systems, a basement waterproofing and foundation repair company, won awards at the 2009 National Basement Systems Convention. They are among a dealer network of over 300 dealers world wide.
Dealers, managers and technicians traveled to Hartford, CT to attend this year's convention. The highlight this year was the release of new products, product training, and the awards ceremony. This makes the ninth consecutive year Jim Nova, president of Nova Basement Systems, has received awards in sales and customer service.
